Carla Bosch is a famous South African artist. She was born and bought up in the beautiful city of Pretoria, South Africa, in 1976. She grew up in a creative place. Her father was a pharmacist during the day and an artist at night. This made her want to be an artist. Carla also went to school for interior design to learn art, but her art skills were too good to ignore.
In 1998, South African art galleries started showing her paintings of landscapes, coastal scenes, and city streets. Her work was liked by art lovers both locally and around the world. Her paintings are famous for their bright colours and warmth.

Carla likes to paint both “en plein air” (outdoors) and in her studio. Acrylics are her preferred medium, and she employs both a palette knife and brushes when creating her canvases. When Carla isn’t creating art, she’s instructing other artists in workshops.
She has been featured in some of the most prestigious art exhibitions in the United States and has won numerous prizes for her work. Galleries in her current country of residence (the United States) as well as in South Africa, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States all feature her work.
